Worked 33 years at a Fortune 100 company in a host of Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality roles. My last role was working on a combination of continuous manufacturing for traditional batching processes and global MES deployment strategy. · Was the first Lean six sigma black belt in the Business Unit in 1996 · Trained other black belts globally throughout the business unit (China/India/Italy/Germany/Mexico/Canada/Malaysia and others) · Personally lead approx.. 50 rapid improvement workshops globally – Support 2-3X that number over the years · Spent majority of time working on plant, process and product design · Had a specific focus on root cause analysis, and developed automation tool to support that function · Recipient of numerous Corporate award, including PPGs highest honor of Meritorious Achievement on multiple occasions. As many people ask – What was your favorite LEAN project I had many but I lead a team in India that took a 36 hour highly labor intensive process and built a completely automated filling system prototype that took the entire process down to 90 minutes. We literally built a highly automated machine from scratch in 5 days (24 your days). It became a global standard for the company and is in use 24 X 7X 365 throughout India. The team there was fantastic.
